Thank you very much, please post it as an answer so that I can accept it. Then, all you have to do now is to head over to the page of the application that you want to download and install it. A slow network connection affects all of your downloads and updates. If your connections seem to be slow but working, try restarting your router or contacting your ISP for help. You can also download apps using your data in the meantime to check if your network is the problem. Open Google Play. Also, if you have any active VPN connection, close them and try downloading apps again.
Remember, deleting the app data removes your account from the app and all the settings you made within it. Ensure that the Google Play app is closed. Go to your device settings app and proceed to the app list. Search for the Google Play store app and tap on it. On the app information page, tap Storage. Tap Clear Cache. You can tap Clear Data as well. Now, restart your device, open Google Play, and try downloading an app. Fortunately, your device allows you to roll back these updates and that should fix the issue for you.
Each new app you download to your device requires a certain amount of space. When you install an app that can open certain file types, your device allows you to set it as the default app for that specific file format. You can always set an app as a default opening tool for your files even when the preferences are reset. Lastly, if nothing works and you still have the Play Store download pending issue on your phone, your last resort should be to reset your phone to the factory settings.
Has the Google Play Store ever caused any issues to prevent new app downloads on your Android device? If so, what did you do to fix it?
