After about a year or so, JohnSmith the original author decided to no longer update the pack, the pack was too good to just let it die so the community took over and John Smith Legacy was born, I joined the project in the beginning but slowly as all the others went onto the sickly sweet modded game and the millions of textures needed for that, I decided to specialise in the Vanilla game, took over the hosting and control of that release.

I don't like adverts, banners, popup and other tricks to get you to click on stuff, these sort of things will never be on the John Smith Legacy site, you don't have to donate to download the resource packs and you'll never have to pay anything to use them, donate and Patreon were only added so you can show your support for this ongoing project, thanks in advance!

There's also now an added benefit for the Mid and High tiers that you get access to the John Smith Legacy Minecraft server, if you decided to support me for more than these tiers then you will also get access to the server.
